Description of Work
Working closely with Boyd Cody Architects (Dublin), Rathbanna were commissioned to carry out the sculptural, abstract bronze cladding volume to the extension of the large three story Victorian house.
Materials Used
The cladding was formed from 2mm mirror polished bronze sheet metal, which was folded and applied to marine grade plywood. The finish was left to tarnish naturally with the elements.
Duration of Work
The cladding project was manufactured and fitted over a 3 month period.
