Description of Work
Working directly to Cookstown parish, Rathbanna were invited to manufacture bespoke lights, a sanctuary lamp, lectern stand and restore other brass church articles.
Materials Used
The bespoke lights were made to the architectural specification using a combination of sheet metal brass, brass chain, and barley twist tube.
The sanctuary lamp was produced from sheet metal brass, machined parts, chains, and a bespoke weight system.
The Lectern stand was produced using an old paschal candle and sheet metal brass for the book stand.
The old church articles including candlesticks were repolished and sealed with a metal lacquer.
Duration of Work
These works were carried out over a 7-month period.
