CHURCHES – ST PATRICKS RC CHURCH (DUNGANNON)

St Patricks RC Church Dungannon

Description of Work

Rathbanna were contracted to produce brass elements to the sanctuary at ST Patricks Church Dungannon, including a new Tabernacle, lectern stand, processional cross and restoration of church articles. We also supplied brass church lighting.

Materials Used

  • The tabernacle was produced using a combination of mild steel and polished brass.
  • The lectern stand was made from metal spun brass, barley twist tube, and flat bar.
  • The processional cross was produced as a replication from the same cross in Armagh RC Cathedral. The cross was made from zinc, brass, and stainless steel.
  • The church brass articles were repolished and lacquered.
  • The church lighting was made to specification in polished brass sheet metal and tubular section.

Duration of Work

All items were produced over an 8-month period.
